Napoleonic Straw Work Box
Rare early nineteenth century Napoleonic Straw Work Box. The top of the lid depicts a village scene with trees within a mitred framework. The Box has losses commensurate with age. The front, sides and back are decorated with further houses and foliate motifs. The interior is very pretty with good colours. The lower box is divided into three sections with lids to either side, and the centre section open to reveal two house and a tree.
