English Oak corbel, circa 1450, from the lower section of a Hammer Beam bracket. It depicts a Bishop holding a crozier. The detailing of the carving is strong, with the crocketing of the crozier, and the clasp on the Bishops vestments. His right arm, which was probably raised to depict the blessing, is missing.
