SN 2511 Carved Panel

French Oak carved panel, circa 1530. It has an interesting inverted design, with the lower half having a roundel with a profile of a woman’s head within it, and leaf spandrels on either side below it. The upper half is carved with typical Renaissance motifs with the top of an urn out of which tumbles an array of foliage.
