SN 2832 Ceiling Boss

English Oak Ceiling Boss, circa 1480 – 1500. It has an almost stiff leaf foliar design, but it is brought together by a very fluid interlaced Celtic knot type design, and the use of heart motifs within the leaves. There is old insect attack to the back and some minor losses, but it is still a very solid piece.
